Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog #255: Summer Treats

Welcome to another Challenge Me Monday...

Challenge #255 Summer Treats
Make a project using your favorite summer treats!

This Weeks Sponsor:

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

Design Team Inspiration:

One of my favorite things to eat in the summer is fresh (like pick it and put it in your mouth fresh) produce. So the first thing that came to mind when I read this challenge was canning... I love going back to my roots out on the acreage and putting me up some fresh produce for the winter!!! And this year I have a few people who want some help and instruction so I see a lot of canning in my future!!
So for this challenge I pre-made my pocket scrapbooking cards for when all that canning happens!
Take a peek:

All the peices put together-- again forgive my lack of pictures-- but the events this layout was designed for have not occured yet!
This is "Gardening Gail" by Saturated Canary colored with copics

Materials used:
CTMH Taste of Summer Paper pack
Kraft and white cardstock
Black crayola marker
Cricut cartridges: Kates ABC's, Preserves, Garden Soup, CTMH Artfully sent, Cricut alphabet, Billionaire font and Lia Griffin Projects

Can't wait to show you what we create when the canning happens!!! Maybe share some recipes??
See you again soon! Thanks for popping in!!!

  1. Love these project life cards! Gardening Gale is absolutely beautifully colored. I love the colors and all the layers with added accents on the other cards as well. Can't wait to see this layout with photos!
